Great atmosphere. (I was able to study in the quiet room.) Employees were really friendly. It is more of an upscale cafe, so the drinks were a bit expensive but, regardless, I'd still return.
Best painting ever! I spent a good half an hour here taking in all the details of the hilarious medieval-themed painting that is hung by the couch. It provides hours of enjoyment and is appropriate for all ages. I am not kidding.
Oh also, delicious coffee and very nice and skilled baristas.
Stopped here after visiting the massive REI across the street. The cafe itself is quite spacious. It even has a cute kids area off to the side and an enclosed area where two guys were taking advantage of the free wifi, playing Starcraft and sucking up bandwidth. One design flaw: bathrooms are in an odd location, far within an attached office building.
Tried the White Velvet but, despite the glowing reviews, thought it was just average. Overrated and overpriced. The large peanut butter cookie was a nice accompaniment, though.
Would have given the place three stars, but both baristas i interacted with were just not that friendly. I've found Seattleites to be quite pleasant and easygoing overall... sadly Espresso Vivaco was an exception.
Best americano in town, hands down. I'm an outdoor gear freak, and I look forward to this place more than I look forward to going to REI, which is across the street.
I really like this place for a great breve, friendly atmosphere, pastries and it's right across from REI. When I'm in town I search this place out above many other opportunities.
Best coffee shop I have ever been to. They really know what they're doing when making a cup of coffee. Always consistent and amazing! I make the treck from The U-District because it's that worth it! Go here.
Seattle is known for coffee. Duhhh. You always see in the commercials the lattes and cappuccinos where they make cool patterns with your foam and this place does it! With lots of different choices, it's definitely big and open where you can just hang out a chill. Similar to a Starbucks, yet it doesn't feel like a Starbucks.
I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I could definitely come back to just come here and hang.
If you are ever curious what the perfect cup of coffee tastes like come here. They take there coffee seriously here and it shows. They also has a great bar exactly like you would find in Italy and great ambiance. So come in, have a cup and a snack ,relax and enjoy. ...il dolce far niente

Two words: life-changing. Best coffee in Seattle. Cafe is always busy, great energy. Wish there was one in my neighborhood!
In a just world Vivace would have a store on every corner and Starbucks would still be a local chain.
