Jenny is the best massage therapist that I have ever been to. Since 1995, I have had monthly, then weekly appointments with various therapists for post polio issues - weak & strong muscles, etc.. Well, thankfully I have found Jenny in Georgetown. Her extensive background and strong listening skills allowed her to target her treatment so well that I have never had to ice down afterwards. She clearly treats each patient individually as my husband had a completely different style of massage! She is a great listener and conversationalist as well - great personality! She is now treating me in conjunction with my physical therapist - don't break your leg folks, trust me on this one! Each PT has noted that they can tell the days that Jenny has worked; I am ready for more of their workouts! My ortho surgeon is also very pleased. Go to her for a relaxing spa massage or for a great theraputic one. Problems all solved here! Thanks Jenny!
Jenny is pretty amazing with her hands. My wife , Heather, used to be part owner of the salon she works out of, and she would set me up with a massage now-and-then. I'm not a big massage guy, mostly because I would be shy about setting one up. Any anxiety I had was completely alleviated by Jenny within the first minute or two.
She is super-cool, which is nice because it's a little weird being mostly naked around a stranger. She has her own music setup and let me pick out the music I wanted. She made sure to point out that she had Enya if I wanted it (I think she was messing with me).
Another thing I liked about Jenny's work is that she listened to what I wanted: I had some tight spots and she really worked those specific spots instead of just going through the motions. She also suggested some exercises to loosen up the tight muscles I had. Top-notch work, cool attitude, and cool atmosphere. If I ever have massage money again, it's going straight to Jenny.
